Preview: water areas in and around The Netherlands
The NL2000 team presents yet another new preview of the pending release. This time, we would like to turn the attention to something besides airfield scenery.
Users of the NL2000V3SE scenery are already familiar with the photo scenery, which was also used in the upcoming NL2000v4. There is, however, one significant difference: the photo scenery in NL2000v4 will add water areas in and surrounding The Netherlands, which is a pretty sight.

Using the latest techniques we have succeeded to portray all the water areas in The Netherlands as close to real life as possible. This includes retaining the water properties of FSX: you can land a seaplane on it like you used to, and the water keeps its reflection properties.
The coast line is very detailed with beautiful breaking waves on the shore, the water locks are nicely detailed, the Wadden Sea is very lifelike, and harbours and rivers have moving boat traffic. To summarize: from the air, this is eye candy.
