NL2000 version 3.0 demo movie online
NL2000 version 3.0 is almost ready to be released. After three beta’s and two release candidates it meets our quality requirements. But before it can be released we need approval of the Dutch ministry of defense.
In the meantime we have put together a demo movie of NL2000 version 3.0.

The movie is distributed via the BitTorrent network. BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer file sharing (P2P) communications protocol. BitTorrent is a method of distributing large amounts of data. For more information about BitTorrent see Wikipedia. The total download size of the movie is 77 MB.
NL2000 version 3.0 will also be distributed via BitTorrent. So by distributing the movie via BitTorrent everybody can already get comfortable with this way of distributing a scenery and we can fix download problems before the release.
If you already know how to download a file via BitTorrent you can simply skip the next part and go to the .torrent files download option. Otherwise, please use our Easy Download option
Option 1: Easy download
- Click on the following link:
- When asked to run or save the file, choose to save it.
- Save the file on a location on your hard drive, for example on your desktop.
- Start the downloaded .exe file by double clicking on it.
- BitTorrent will now ask where you want to save the file. Please choose a location with enough free disk space.
- It is possible your firewall will ask if the program is allowed to connect to the Internet. Choose to allow a connection to the Internet.
- It is also possible the BitTorrent opens http://www.blogtorrent.com in your browser and is asking for a donation to the Blog Torrent project. This has nothing to do with the NL2000 project. We will not receive this donation.
- The download will now start, the screen will look like:
- When the download is finished, the screens looks like:
- Please keep this window open. When you keep the program running, you will help other users downloading the file. So simply choose to minimize the program and keep it running for about a week, if you need to restart your computer, please see instructions below about how to restart the program.
- When the download is finished you can open the .wmv file in your favorite movie player to watch the video.
When you have to restart your computer:
- Start/Restart the computer.
- Start the BitTorrent program saved in step 2 again by double clicking on it.
- Choose the same download location as done in step 5.
- BitTorrent will check if the download is complete and will start uploading data to other users. This way you help others to download the file.

Option 2: Download via a BitTorrent client
When you have already installed a BitTorrent client. You can click the following .torrent file to start downloading. So if you don’t have a BitTorrent client installed, please use option 1: easy download.
Please keep this .torrent seeding for about a week.
