EHRD - Can't see it

Post by Nuno_Santos » Tue Jun 22, 2004 2:11 am

Hello,

First of all congratulations to the nl team for this great piece of freeware scenery. You deserve credit for that.

Now he's my problem: tried a flight today to Rotterdam (EHRD) but on the approach I noticed that the airport wasn't there 8O I descent with the ILS and landed on the grass because the airport simply wouldn't show up

Anyone ever noticed this? (I can't believe I'd be the first to spot it).

Regards,

Nuno

That is strange, it should be there.

How did you install the scenery (manual/installer)?

Is the a file named EHRD.bgl in the scenery directory of NL2000?

Actually I just notoced that none of the airports are present in my Flight Sim, mind you that it worked ok before I formatted my HDD and now after this new installation of nl2000 nothing seems to work 8O

I am sure it was ok before because I flew before to EHAM and somewhere in Belgium (Lierse, i think ) and the airports were there but they're not there anymore.

I'll try to re-install is there any way of uninstalling the scenery apart from running the installer, because I've deleted it from my HDD and it's 200+ MB?

Cheers,

Nuno

The best way is to reinstall nl2000 manually, and to avoid to overwrite the existing featurepanel directory (because a backup exists of you original FS files).

Ik you install everything in the same directory, everything must work properly.

If you want to deinstall without installing: please read the featurepanel article on the website, in wich is explained how to place the original FS files back.

of course, if you can start featurepanel, and clear all checkboxes an then press the button 'apply changes', all backup files will be restored (and therafter you can delete all nl2000 files via the installer executable.
