New 5th runway Polderbaan rwy 36L for FS9

Post by Goodavish » Sat Jun 05, 2004 7:47 pm

Is there a file out to add the new 36L runway and Z taxiway at EHAM with the NL2000 V2.9 scenery? I see one for the default FS2004 scenery and one for the NL2000 V2.1 scenery, but nothing for the new version. Can I use the add on 36L for the V2.1 scenery and will that be compatible with V2.9?

The 36L runway and Z taxiway at EHAM are already included in the 2.9 release.

And soon we will publish a patch to correct some problems with the taxi ways (and other bugs).

I have NL2000 V2.9 installed for my FS2002. I just got FS9. I highlighted that FS version on the Feature Panel. However, the scenery in FS9 does not show 36L or the Z taxiway. Do I have to do anything else?

yes, you have. In the feature panel select "seamless texture + landable water". then Z will appear but with a (dramatic) drop in framerate...

Cheers

OK, I did that. Rwy 36L is there in good detail, however taxiway Z is pretty poor. Missing parts of the taxiway, poor texture, etc. The rest of the airport is good, though. Any suggestions, or when is that patch coming out for the textures for FS2004?
