Rwy-Elevation-Problem with Reiffer Brothers Rhein-Ruhr 2004

Post by BertGroner » Thu May 20, 2004 1:31 pm

Hallo alle zusammen vom NL-2000-team; hello all at the NL-2000-Team!

- for english please scroll down a bit –

http://flightsim.reiffer.com/

***

At first a heartfelt THANKS for releasing NL-2000 version 2.9 for FS 2004. Great work, really great work!

Unfortunately I’ve got a big problem while simultaneously using the scenery Rhein-Ruhr 2004 made by

Reiffer Brothers

http://flightsim.reiffer.com/

with NL-2000 Version 2.9: The runway of Essen-Mühlheim (EDLE) is hovering high above ground here caused by a maybe to big FLATTEN-entry within NL-2000. It is the same effect I had seen with your NL-2000-Versionfor FS 2002!

Please provide a corrective FLATTEN- or EXCLUDE-entry to get both sceneries working together again. I’m sorry but I can’t find a solution for this in your forum yet.

Many thanks and all the best, yours

Thanks for reporting this, we were not aware that this airfield was affected as well (for some of the German airfield that are almost at the Dutch border we already knew). We are trying to redefine the flattens so that they are closer to the borders (but due to the complex shape of the border it is hard of course to let them follow it exactly). These new flattens will come with the patch.
