FXS Error

Post by Striker01 » Thu Nov 24, 2011 1:53 pm

Hi,

I downloaded all nl2k-v4_01 files (22 files) from Flightsim.com and the Installer 4_0_20. I extracted the files and put them into the system via the installer. They now look fine in the FSX scenery library but but every time I start the FSX I receive Warnings

"File error in SCENERY.cfg. The directory for the local scenery (G:\NL2000\nl2k_v4_xxxx\Scenery) at Scenery area. xxx could not be found. Click on OK to continue."

What did I do wrong. Did I miss files to down load? There are 59 files on Flightsim com. Do I need them all?

Thanks in advance for your assistance

Uwe

Uwe,
It seems that the scenery.cfg don't have the same locations as where you installed them
If you have installed them on G, then the installer will put this information in the scenery.cfg
You didn't move the installed files to another location ?

You don't need all the files, but you need the libraries installed for all.

Hi Joop,

like like I had my stupid day yesterday. I deleted a bunch of file because I thought they where double in my folder. Now after I have installed them again it work fine.

Thanks for the beautiful work.

I just "visited Ttwenthe AB ( active) as I did in real back in the 80ties when I was with the GAF JaboG 36 from Hopsten AB. What I missed in the scenery was the Cross Servicing area, we were ther for 3 month with 12 aircarft so it must have been a big platform and I thing it was where you have place the NF-5A. Maybe I can find out at Google earth.

So far thang much for the very fast support.

Uwe
