hi as always thanks for great scenery! Is it necessary to uninstall all the old V4 before installing V5?

No, the installer will remove the old versions when you are installing new packages,

Thanks Joop I currently usr P3D 4.5 and installer is 4.0104. The installation instructions say "4.1 Installation of theinstaller1. Download the files and put them in a temporary folder.2. If you had an older installer than, you have to uninstall this first by the control panel of Windows,.You have to do that with administrator rights.(via the right mouse click)"
So I am not sure if I just down load he installer, airports and scenery and it will update everything?
Groete!

Hi Charles,
To install the latest new v5 packages you have to install the newest installer first . It's better to uninstall the old one, but if you install it over the old one it's OK too.
And indead install via the richt mouse click as administrator . After that you download the new packages you want to install and start the installer( again with the right mouse click as administrator ) NL2000 Libraries package first . The installer will remove the old packages and than install the new ones automaticly.
Happy flying
