Cannot install into D:\Program Files\NL2000

I am trying to install the scenery into D:\Program Files\NL2000 and the installer says it is unable. D: is not my system drive, and Program Files is not protected.
Please advise.

Did you install and run the installer as administrator ( right mouse click ) ?

The installer automatically asks to elevate privileges, but manually doing so makes no difference.

But I think it's something on your PC, that partition D cannot be found.

Considering that the installer is running from D:\Program Files\NL2000V4_Installer, I think that is unlikely.
What specific conditions cause the installer to return this message?

You do not want your scenery installed in the same directory as the installer.
So for instance make a directory D:\NL2000.

Thanks, but the installer is in D:\Program Files\NL2000V4_Installer, and I want to install to D:\Program Files\NL2000. They are not the same.

Just try to skip the program Files.
