I have just installed Leeuwarden, Volkel and Valkenburg on my new computer. All look great! In addition I installed the v5.01 libraries- as well as the "nl2k_v5_3D\scenery". I get an alert that "Could not find scenery 220's local scenery directory: C\nl2000\nl2k_v5+3d\scenery". When it asks me to unload. I say yes - but the question continues to be asked. I then removed that folder from my NL2000 scenery location, but as I do not know how your installer activates that folder - the alert continues!

Please tell me what I need to do. Uninstall? If so - how?

can you give me the exact text form that message, because : "C\nl2000\nl2k_v5+3d\scenery" is unknown to me

Then the folder of the "NL2000 3D " isn't on that Original location anymore. I cannot see were it went, but if you look into your system where this folder is located ,you move that yourself to: C:\Nl2000\Nl2k_V5_3D\SCENERY,

I did as you asked and and moved the folder to the proper location. I now have both a Yellow folder and file with the name "nl2k_v5_3D" in my C:\NL2000 folder. I still get the same alert. This is a critical issue, as my Scenery Library will not function as long as it sees that alert. I think that I must uninstall "nl2k_v5_3d" in order to stop the alert? I can then reinstall it. How do i uninstall "nl2k_v5_3D"? Installer? if so, how?

Just noticed that my "nl2k_v5_3D" folder does NOT have a "scenery" folder indie it.

That's why the program cannot open the library item. Try to install the "nl2k_v5_3D" package again

How to delete present one - or just re-install over previous installation?

Hi Joop.

My situation is worse - not better. I :
1/ removed the nl2k_v5_3D folder and 3D file from C:/NL2000.
2/ downloaded a new nl2k_v5_3D file to C:/NL2000
3/ I reinstalled nl2k_v5_3D using the installer.
4/ NO more alert (great - thought it was fixed)
5/ Went into my Scenery Library (which had been unusable while I was getting the alert). Tried to add a scenery. It still will not function.
6/ I removed the newly installed nl2k_v5_3D folder and 3D file from C:/NL2000.
7/ The previous alert returns. Scenery library is still not functioning

I still have a part of the problem unsolved (my scenery library worked perfectly up until this bad 3D location issue).

If I remove all the remaining NL2000 scenery files and folders - will I recover my scenery Library?
What should I do now? Ideas please.

William , I just forgot to ask which flightsimulator you use. I assumed that you use P3Dv4. If you use FSX versie5 of the NL2000 scenery cannot be used. You must use the version4 . But If you use P3Dv4 , go to the map where you installed the nl2000 scenery. If that is C:/nl2000. Find there the map : "nl2k_v4_InstallerData" . Remove the file : nl2k_v5.01_3D.nl2.
You don't have to delete the folder "nl2_v5_3D" . Install the 3D package again . The installer will delete to old one.

I do use P3Dv4,
I did as you asked.
My scenery library still locks up (freezes) when I attempt any change.

What now?

I hope that you had a very enjoyable vacation. I have the requested scenery.cfg ready to send - but don't see the 'standard" icon to attach it (either here or in a PM). Please tell me how to provide it.
