EHAM OOM Crash

Post by Thunderstreak » Mon Mar 13, 2017 11:02 pm

I have recently installed all of the NL2000 scenery and really enjoy it!
Unfortunately if I approach EHAM I suffer an OOM crash.
I have tried reducing Traffic and Autogen significantly.
I see there are a few posts about this problem but don't see a solution.

What are the settings of the sliders?
What kind of configuration do you have?

It is not simply to tell what causes the error on your side.

I7-6700K @ 4.00 GHz
16GB Ram
NVidia Geforce GTX960 Driver 376.33
Window 7 64 bit
FSX Acceleration.
FTX Global Base, Vector, OpenLC Europe, Trees HD, Rex clouds (1024) and NL2000 complete.

I normally fly with all sliders max except the following:
Water low 2X.
Autogen Dense or Very Dense.
Scenery Complexity Very Dense or Extremely Dense.
AI traffic 30% & 30% Airport Vehicles Low.
Road Vehicles 10% Boats 20% & 20%.

My test flight is from Texel southbound in the A2A Texan and repeatedly will OOM crash over the north of Amsterdam.
I tried reducing Autogen to Normal, Complexity to Dense, reducing traffic etc. but always get the same result.
Last night I tried the same flight with EHAM unchecked and monitored VAS remaining. I flew south over Amsterdam and west to Leeuwarden and landed without VAS ever becoming critical.

Regardless of my problems, I really appreciate NL2000's efforts, this is an amazing addition to FSX!

Try to download and install the latest EHAM version.
Delete the old one.

I have version: nl2k_v4.06_eham (16-06-2014)
Which seems to be the latest version on the download page.

Is there a newer version somewhere?

Thanks!
