Just got back into FS, but do prefer FS2004 to FSX
Installed NL2000 V3 scenery but all AI float a few feet above ground.
I know this has been discussed at length over the years, but does anyone have a simple solution to this?
Many thanks

Hi Joop
Yes, copied the eham_afcad_v3_3.bgl AFCAD from NL2000 directory into the Addon Scenery directory in FS folder.
Were the any other files to transferred?
Thank you
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Sorry but version3 for FS2004 is so long ago , that the knowlidge has gone.
And old members of the team who worked on that version are not in our team anymore.
We are only working on version 4 for FSX and P3D.
But as my memory is correct you have to install the afcads via the featurepanel.

Hi,
I've just downloaded and installed the great NL2000V3 for my FS2004, really awesome work.
However, I also encountered the AI floating problem as the subject described.
Has the solution been found? It seems both EHAM & EHRD have the same problem (not sure for other airports). I wonder if it's an AFCAD height issue or something other than this.
Thank you.
*P.S. Editing AFCAD is useless, there might be flatten which I cannot find out.
Also, it appears that AI aircraft will be at the correct height only after they have landed.

Hi all,
I've searched google with various keywords, and the solution was here - it has been posted almost ten years ago.

Simply activating navaids in featurepanel and all AI aircraft come back to ground, amazing.
