Hello guys in Netherland
I am very apreciated about your NL2000 Sceneries. It is really a great work.
But after I installed the new Libs and EHAM I got black quadrangular smoke out of all of my chimneys. I have never seen this before and I had to recover my Effects-Data to solve this problem. Is it possible to create a solution?
I am sure many more users would like your work.
Cheers
Dietmar
P.S. I use P3D v3.javascript:emoticon('8)')

Just repeating : Our scenery is made for FSX and not complete compatible with P3D. P3D change our FSX effect in another effect.

Hello
Thanks for your quick response. But I think your are going to make your very nice scenery much mor compatible to P3D in the future and therefore you will need some information. P3D v3 will be the future of simming.
Cheers

Hello Dietmar,
I have both FSX (boxed version with preview DX10 checked) and P3D v2.5 installed. In P3D smoke starts quadrangular but after a while it gets normal. I think it’s no compatibility problem. I don’t know what causes this problem. Maybe a too high value for Target Frame Rate?

Hello Flips
Thanks for the answer. My target frame rate is about 33 fps. I think it is not too high.
In former times I had the same problem with P3D 2.1 and 2.2 allways the same without changing over the time.
I would really like to use your wonderful scenery. Maybe in the future. Who knows.
Merry christmas

Hello Dietmar,
I am not sure that this problem is caused by the Target Frame Rate. I’ve set this on 20 fps.
I suppose your pc doesn’t have enough time to alter the quadrangles. Lowering the Target Frame Rate is a way to give the cpu some more time for treating the graphics. In Prepar3D big part of the graphics still is done by the cpu, though not as much as in FSX. There are some settings in Prepar3D.cfg that affect the way graphics are treated too.
