NL2000 v4 and Orbx OpenLC EU

Post by catmar1944 » Thu Jul 17, 2014 11:58 pm

Hi just installed Orbx OpenLC set FTC Central to Global and put myself at EHRD took off from runway 06 and turned left downwind around 240 degrees. Now all the West Coast is messed up.

If anyone has got Orbx OPENLC EU who can take a look along the west coast to see if its all been messed.

Thanks

Put all the NL2000 scenery files in the FSX on a higher priority level then the 10 ORBX LC Europe files.

That did it for me.

Okay moved all NL2000 v4 files below OPENLC EU and I still have jaggy coastline facing towards the UK, I seem to remember many of us having the same problem using FS9 but cannot remember how it was corrected.

I have found loads of files in the addon scenery, scenery folder belonging to Vidal Designs Aahus (sp) so I have moved them to a temp folder and will see if they are causing the problem.

Okay for anyone interested I have discovered the file that is causing corrupted coastlines on the west coast of the Netherlands in the area of Rotterdam.

The file is Ultimate Terrain Europe UT Exclusions For Default Scenery, once I had unticked this file in the scenery library the problem disappeared.

No problem Joop hope it will help those people who have Orbx OPENLC EU and UT Europe a lot of time unticking and ticking files trying to find out where the problem file is.

Thanks for NL2000 V4 which is a really beautiful package so now I have to work out how to update it to the latest version I think mine is v4.3 and I think there is v4.6 with new installer.
