Installer can't find msflightsim - I have prepar3d

Post by hendrik47 » Sun Feb 23, 2014 11:31 pm

I read on the nl2000 site that the latest installer worked with p3d but when I run the latest installer it states it cannot find ms flight simulator and closes.

I do not have fsx installed, only P3D 2.0, installed to c/Lockheed Martin/p3d 2.0. I have tried using the Estonia migration tool without success.

Help much appreciated!

Hendrik

We are not ready for the Prep3DSv2,
the installer is only working for now in Prep3Dv1.4

Thanks for the information Joop.

I now have a new problem! I have installed FSX and the installer now launches OK.

But. it only allows me to install .nl2 files. All the photoscenerys are .zip files.
Do I unzip them first? If so they only contain the scenery and texture files and no .nl2 extension recognised by the installer.

Also how do I install the libraries (which must be installed first) as these are also zip files with no .nl2 extension.

I have succesfully installed NL200 into FSX in the past, so I am clearly missing something obvious!!

Edit - It's OK I think. I have to rename all the .zip file to .nl2?

That sometimes happen while downloading, we don't have any idea how that happens.
Just change the .zip in .nl2 and you must be ablke to install
