Files corrupted?

Post by aime » Thu Mar 14, 2013 2:00 am

Hi NL2000 team,

Thanks for this scenery.

I've try download the 45Gb pack from newsgroup and I've CRC error for files: DR FR GR LI NH OV UT ZH (v4.04)

I've try via http but downloads are stopped before end.

Are all nl2 files can be open with 7zip?
With http mirror, can't open files FR GE NB NH ZH with 7zip. (Trying 3 downloads)

Are theyse files corrupted or it's normal I can't open with 7zip?
I want know that before trying to install the scenery pack.

Sorry for my poor english.

Thanks for help.

Regards

And the installer do any kind of checksum check?

If the downloaded file is corrupt, the installer will not install the package.
But we know, that in a single case that didn't happen , so it may be possible, that the installation goes allright, but during the flight ,you see that some ground textures don't show up. In that case we advise the download again. But that happened only 2 times in all those years.

Thank you Joop.

Effectively I didn't have any problem installing the scenery.

Alberto
