EHAM FSX

Post by bvanhout » Sun Sep 23, 2012 10:51 pm

Hi All,

I have installed the NL2000 scenery V4 and was wondering which, if any, is the best FSX EHAM scenery to use with it.

Are there plans to release an NL2000 EHAM scenery.

Thanks for a great scenery

Brian

Hi,

The development team is still working on a Amsterdam version for NL2000 but this is not yet done and neither do they know when it will be released ;)

Give it a search and I am sure you will find plenty of addons for Amsterdam meanwhile ;)
Kind Regards,

I use payware Aerosoft EHAM with it. It doesn't quite work out as good as NL2000's work in FS9 because the colours don't match (Aerosoft seems to match default FSX - so the ground is brown and yellow icky.) and some of the taxiway signs are missing (or outdated maybe.) so it can be a bit tough to navigate your way around sometimes. (embarrassing on VATSIM when you miss your turning spot).

Avsim.com has some free afcad sceneries which will update the default to the current layout, but the terminal building will still be default textures. A quick search finds http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=175144

Hopefully progress is still happening on EHAM, because it would be nice to have an EHAM scenery that fits the textures of NL2000 properly.

We are still working on our version of EHAM , but it takes a lot more time then we have, besides our other activities.
But it will come when we are ready and satisfied with the result.
