Libraries Q

Hello All from S. Africa...
My first visit to the site. I'd like to say thanks for such a wonderful job you're doing over there. The quality is outstanding. I do have a query though.... I should say at this point I'm using FSX.

I've done the Download for the 'Libraries' file (N L 2000 V 402) and a couple of other downloads and installs as well. I notice, on the list of 'Installed Packages' that there's a tick box next to them. These are all 'active' except for the 'Libraries' one. This has got me thinking that I may not have installed it correctly.

I've flown a test flight and things look fine..as far as I can see. The other programmes I've added are: The '3D' - EHRD & The Traffic (got to say there wasn't much there :( ...Am I doing something wrong please? This isn't a complaint ...just a question..hope this is understandable :?
Thanks
ralphc

Hi,

This is by design so there is nothing wrong with your installation.
The reason for this, is the fact that all packages (airfields, traffic, 3D and so on) depend on the libraries package modul.
You need also to start with the library package to install first otherwise you can't install the other package modulles of NL2000v4.

regards

Thanks for the solution..

Hi Wolf....
Thanks for the prompt response. :) That explains it...got things the wrong way round. I've got 02-3D first. (I'm assuming that they show on the list in order of install)So I'll uninstall and do a re-load. ...If that's possible?

This might explain why the 'Trees' module isn't showing on the list of installs too. It looks like it's installing but doesn't show.
Best Wishes

The tree-modulle is just autogen trees, perhaps you need to work with the autogen slider in FSX.

Hi Wolf...
Thanks for the reply. Perhaps I didn't explain myself correctly. The trees look fine, excellent in fact. What I meant was that the actual install, isn't showing as 'installed' on the list of packages I've added on the Installer list. :? Sorry if I sound confusing
Best Wishes
