NL2000 v4 has corrupted FSX

Hi.. new member here.

Yesterday I spent the afternoon unpacking, installing and defragging NL2000 v4 and got FSX started up after dinner. Had a lot of trouble with Scenery definitions and the Sim not finding NL2000 folders. Installer put NL2000 scenery in the C:\NL2000 but I moved them to E:\FSX\Scene\Scenery\NL2000. Then FSX could not find scenery and I had to edit all the entries in Scenery.cfg file.

Things got worse when a message box popped up "Failed to Read From File." Then FSX would get stuck running in the background and I'd have to kill the FSX.exe in task manager. Another strange message "Invalid Hardware or Driver Detected, graphics card does not meet requirements for shader - FSX will now exit." FSX ran nice for allong time before.

After a reboot FSX started up but here is what the terrain looked like:

The terrain around the aircraft is corrupt. Should I uninstall NL2000 v4? Will that restore the previous textures? Was thinking of uninstalling `nl2k_v4_3D´ and `nl2k_v4_libraries´ to see if that will fix the terrain. Please advise.

Gregory,

It is better to uninstall NL2000v4 and reinstall it on the new location.
Not on C:
The problems occurs , when you move the files and enter the scenery.cfg by hand.

Thank you for the promp reply. Will uninstalling fix the corrupt terrain textures around the aircraft location? So I need to move the scenery files back into the C:\ folders and uninstall each NL2000 package? Can you describe or provide an install log so I can view what files were added or replaced?

Just moveall the files back to C and uninstall them all

After that, look if all the maps are gone. and that the scenery library in FSX is clear of NL2000 items.

Then install NL2000 again
