Tip: Installatie FSX
Posted: Fri Aug 20, 2010 5:51 pm
Onderstaande tip heeft niets met de installatie van de NL2000 scenery te maken, maar ik wilde deze informatie toch even doorgeven mocht je op het punt staat om een compleet nieuwe installatie van FSX te gaan doen.
Doe er je voordeel mee.

If you are intending to install FSX and both services packs consecutively then it is imperative that the following guide is followed:
1. Once FSX is installed, run the simulator and carry out a short flight before installing any expansion pack. Reboot the computer and then install SP1.
2. Once SP1 is installed, again take a short flight in FSX and then reboot the computer before installing SP2 and/or the Acceleration pack.
installing each item consecutively without running the simulation and rebooting your computer, creates a number of known issues in FSX. This is because the simulator must be allowed to configure itself properly between each installation, otherwise important system data can be lost. Users have reported a number of problems including 'transparent aircraft' and regular crashing of FSX unless this approach is taken with respect to installation.
