I am trying to install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 but am getting an error message saying it can not run on 64bit systems but in your Manual it says any Windows 7 versions are compatable. Please can you advise me on what to do.

Do you have a 64 bit or 32 bit version of windows 7?
It seems to me you're installing the wrong version of .NET framework 2.0

I am running 64bit and I used the link in the installer manual to download .Net 2.0. Is there a different version for 64bit and if so where can I get it?

It is just the .NET frramework from Microsoft nothing special about it.

I was refering to your error message
error message saying it can not run on 64bit systems

That's why i asked about the 32bit and 64 bit versions of your system.

I'm not using Windows 7 but isn't there already .NET framework in it?

I installed 64bit version and it said already installed with operating system. So now when I start the installer I get a .NET Framework unhandled exception message. Conversion from string "FALSEneiro" to type 'Boolean' is not valid. Any ideas as to what has gone wrong??

Well the first thing i can think (i'm still a windows XP user) that it has something todo with the rights.
I know windows 7 you need to set the security level directly on folder level.

Perhaps you can try the following.

Do log in as an administrator in windows 7
Even if you're login in with an administrator account in Win7 you don't have full access.
Go to your FSX folder in the explorer (Microsoft Flight Simulator X), right click on it, then go to properties and then go to the tab security, in that direction you have to look and set the security settings to full access.
Also you can try right mous button on the "Microsoft Flight Simulator X" folder and disable read only.
And NL2000v4 install right klick and select install as administrator.

Hope this works

I have already installed the installer with administrator rights. I have checked in securty settings and I have full access. Now when I clkick the installer shortcut to open the installer so that I can install the photo scenery and airports and other modules this is when I get the.NET Framework error message.

Hmmm you are sure that you have right clicked on the Microsoft Flight Simulator X folder in your explorer and checked the security tab?

Can you put a screenshot of your error message on the board.
You can do that by making a screenshot and than you can upload it to a free online photo album like photobucket.com.
Then you can link to that picture from this forum by using the "Img" tab

Do you use AES or other Earosoft sceneries?
