nl2000 install problem

i have downloaded via bit torrent ,when i click on first file it starts with accepted or decline i click on accept ,then i get a wndow that says the following at the top ,

ASSERTION FAILED:ABORT=QUIT,RETRY=DEBUG,IGNORE=CONTI

AT VE_TOC.READTOCFILE()
AT VE_ INSTALLER..ctor ()
AT FRM NL2000V3_0 MAIN.INT ()
AT MAIN.MAIN ()

If i click on any button eg ignore or rety it wont go any further.
I am running on vista 32 bit home .hope someone out there can help.

The installer has some problems with reading the *.toc files. There must be 15 of them on DVD1, check this please. When the number of toc files is OK, try opening them with notepad to see if the system can read them from DVD.

thank you for your reply ,i have checked toc files & there is 15 as you say on dvd 1.

hi just a note regarding my last reply i have opened the toc files should they all be illegibile some look like chinese writting ?

Hi Steve,

All toc files should have readable content with a "end" somewhere at the end.

Looks like something went wrong during the download or the burning of the DVD.

Hi thanks for your reply ,as it took 36 hours to down load i dont think i will bother ,but thanks for your help kind regards Steve
