Error when FS9 is at root

Post by rke » Tue Sep 04, 2007 8:28 pm

Just noticed I was still using v2.92 despite having downloaded v3, so I went to install v3 & suddently remembered why I didn't have v3 installed yet.

It won't allow me to install, since FS9 is installed at the root of a drive (I have a dedicated 100gb drive just for FS) - I tried the usual workaround of making a folder with the fs9.exe and see if that worked, but that sadly wasn't the case.

Is there anything I can do? Apart from reinstalling FS, something I'm not very keen on due to the amount of tweaking I've done by now. Not to mention the number of addons I'd have to track down & reinstall again :(

You have to use this tool first to fix your registry path for FS2004.
