New Version and how to get rid of this problem

Hi,

Normally, one of the worse problems of sceneries are the transitions between the FS scenery and the addon itself. In the NL 2000 scenery, when we are in the day time, we have always to see that green blocks that are connected to the scenery. Is that possible to change the colour of those blocks in order to get a smoothe transition between FS scenery and NL 2000 scenery? Would it be possible a better transition for the upcoming version of NL 2002?
Thanks,

Nuno

Hello Nuno,

I hope I understand what you mean. Do you mean that you see the edge between our textures and the default mesh scenery? This edge should be about 50 nm or so away from you.

One way to solve it is to reduce the visibility in the weather menu. This also makes the weather look more Dutch :)

If you want you can change the colors of the textures too. But this ussually doesn't give the desired results, as then the look of the texture is destroyed and it doesn't look nice anymore. But you could give it a try.

For the next version we are now working on a completely new type of base scenery. This will use the same techniques as the default mesh scenery and therefore there will be no transition problems anymore. But you will have to wait a few monts till that version will be ready :)

Hi,

A few months? When? Summer?
I fly not so often to Holland since the frame rates from every scenery in Holland are bad or if the frame rates are not so bad then is the scenery bad.
I would like to fly in Holland every day as soon as possible.
So, I expect some news in some time ... :P
