EHRD ILS R-24

Post by irvin1940 » Wed Feb 01, 2006 6:15 pm

I have recently installed NL2000 for FS2004. I must have made a mistake somewhere because when tuning RD on 108.3, the loc needle centres about 50 metres to the right of the 24 threshhold. To fly the ILS, I have had to revert to the default FS2004 scenery. Advice appreciated. Thanks.

Have you already enabled the NL2000 afcad files in the feature panel?

Mark:

When I downloaded and installed NL2000 a month ago, I must have missed the AFCAD files and features panel: NL2000 simply installed itself. Can you briefly explain how I bring up the features panel and what I should then do? Thanks.

Normally a shortcut to the feature panel is placed on your desktop. If it is not there please go to <your fs directory>/Scenery/nl2000_v2_9 with explorer. Here you will find two important directories:
- manual (read the manual)
- feature_panel

In feature_panel you will find the feature panel. How this is used is described in the manual.

Have done and the problem is now sorted. Many thanks---and congratulations on the scenery. I was a commercial pilot based at RTM for some years, and it's great to recognise every blade of grass on the approach---even the Jet Centre and maintenance at RAS is there! Truly amazing!
