Movable fingers at Schiphol?

Post by bokkers » Fri Dec 09, 2005 2:22 pm

Hi everyone.

First of all a massive thank you to everyone involved in this scenery project. It's truly a lot of fun to fly across NL now.
However, when flying to Schiphol, one question immediately struck my mind and I couldn't find anything about it in the manual or the forums:
Does Schiphol have movable fingers? And if so, how can I activate them?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Greetings from EDDL,
bokkers

Hallo Bokkers,
Schiphol has them in real life - but the NL2000 version doesn't.

Cheers

Hello Arjan,

thanks for replying. Well, I hope sometimes in the future they get integrated, but I assume that adding animations like these is rather complicated. Too bad I know nothing about scenery design, otherwise I could have offered some help.

Cheers,

Hi,

The current version does indeed not have them, but we have them planned for the new EHAM of NL2000 v3.0.

It is indeed a lot of work to make the animations for all the different gates, etc. So I can't promise that they will all be fully animated, but some at least.

Hi.

Wouldn´t AES by Oliver Pabst from Aerosoft.de be a chance to get some very remarkable animations into EHAM?

I´m using it and must admit, that it´s very impressive. Why don´t you contact him?

Kind regards.
