Northern Netherland scenery problem

Post by jgoggi » Sat Oct 22, 2005 12:07 pm

I have a problem in northern Netherland: some of the West Frisian Islands and other zones east of them towards Germany have appendices of one-colour light gray areas, as if the terrain textures did not load, even if the shape looks correct. Further, there are some inside sea areas of a darker blue than the outside sea, with a discontinuity that is not nice looking.
Is it something normal?
Thanks,
James

Hai Jgoggi,

First what kind of pc do you own. Wich graphical adapter internal memory etc.

Second what are your FS2004 settings. High low ore medium. First try to set the scenery details to high of very high. Maybe this wil help

Thirth Which altitude do you fly. When you fly at FL290 the visibility is very low

Fourth: Do you have more addons for example German etc.

Happy flying futher.

About the color of the water: I think that's because you are using the default installation. In this model, we use plain textures for water.

If you start featurepanel you can change this via the button NL2000 Misc. Choose the model 'Landable water + seamless textures'.

About the textures on the border: I'm not sure what the problem is...

After installing NL2000 I installed FSwater and maybe that changed the water textures.
As to the terrain, it looks as if there were some textures missing, unless those areas are intended to be large grey beaches, but they are of a unique light grey colour. I'll post a picture tomorrow of what I see.
Thnk you.
