Path error

Hello,

I thought I posted this yesterday, but nothing has appeared so perhaps I did something wrong!

I'ce installed v2.91 afresh on a new PC, and have encountered a problem. When using the feature Control Panel, I get the following error message:
No NL2000 scenery found in the scenery cfg in K:\Flight Simulator 9 Please enter the path manually.

But that is exactly where the scenery.cfg file is, and the pasth of FS and the scenery itself is shown correctly in the panel.

Similar error messages stop me installing SP1 and 2. I can do these manually, I believe, but before doing so wondered if there is a solution available to this?

Hi John,

Did you do a manual or an automatic install? The problems seems to be that the NL2000 scenery can not be found in the scenery.cfg file. So maybe you named it different from the default name?

I did an automatic install, and the entry was certainly in the scenery.cfg correctly.

I've now removed and reinstalled twice more - on the last occasion things seem to have worked. I have no idea why.

Am I right to say I don't need to install patch 1 with v2.91 and only patch 2?

Thanks,

John

Hi John,

Yes, patch 1 is to update version 2.90 to 2.91. So if you installed the full version of 2.91, you only need the patch to 2.92.

Can you post the entry in the scenery.cfg file that defines the nl2000 scenery?

That sounds similar to my problem. See my post
