Question about a previous bug

Hi guys,

This is not a bug report but a question about a previous bug. I hope you don't have to dig too deeply for a reply.

In one of your previous versions of NL2000 for FS2002 there was a bug in the vicinity of Hilversum which caused system crashes. This bug was corrected later by you.

Because I have the same problems with other addon scenery I would like to ask you to try to explain (in short) what the technical problem was which caused those system crashes in NL2000. The addon scenery in question works fine in FS2002 but in FS2004 the same kind of system crashes occur in certain parts of the scenery.
The authors do not answer my questions.

Could you please put my nose in the right direction.

Thanks for any trouble taken.
Hans

Hans,
We discovered, that if there are double startlocations ( at the same end) in the AFCAD file on a runway the problem occurs. This was the main problem.

So we are running through all the AFCADs to search for this matter.

I think Hans is not refering to the current bug in v2.91, that we are ironing out at the moment.

In v2.0 there was a CTD near Hilversum as well and in that case it was caused by a corrupt object library (if I remember correct). But if the other scenery you refer to works fine in Fs2002 and not in Fs2004 I don't think it is this same problem.

Thanks Arno for your reply.

I checked all AF2 files via AFCAD but found no double start positions anywhere. I agree with you that if the scenery works OK in FS2002 but not in FS2004 then there must be some kind of a more exotic bug somewhere.

The scenery I'm refering to has the name "Cuba2004" and it is very nice to fly around there especially if you have been there on a holiday and can recognize all kinds of buildings and monuments from the air. It's just such a great pity that when taking off from MUHA (Havana) and flying to MUVR (Varadero) this system crash occurs about half way every time (in FS2004 only).

Thanks again for your reply. I will just have to fly around the "bug area", the only problem however is that ATC gives me hell when I do that.
