Torrent was a perfect idea for this size. Started download yesterday evening and in the morning all 5 files were here - using microtorrent [uTorrent], average speed was 660KB/sec.

OK, I have done everything suggested in this thread.
Downloaded UTorrent
Set up a Static IP address
Forwarded the port and it is now connected
Set the speeds to o
Configured Windows Firewall to allow an exception to this port
I am still getting only a maximum of 20KB/s download speed. Is there anything else I can do? Oh, and I also enabled encryption. Help! At this speed, it will take me months to download.

OK, I tried something different. I tried opening the .torrent files within the UTorrent window. It works great. It is downloading now at about 60Kb/s. The only problem I have, though, is that for file DVD 1 of 5, it is an executable file, not a .torrent file. So UTorrent cannot recognize it and open it in the window. So that one is only downloading at 5-8 Kb/s. ANy way of getting file DVD 1 of 5 in a .torrent format?

Please see our download instructions and scroll to Option 2: Download via a BitTorrent client.

jgoggi wrote:Hello,
The total size of the installation files of NL2000 v3 is 21 Gb, but what will be the size of the scenery once installed on the hard disk? Will it be 21 Gb as well or less or depending on what is installed?
Thanks.
the total installment of NL2000V3 takes 30Gb and the add-on is very good, but....
VOZv1.3 took only 500Mb...and is really fabulous!
Why such a big difference in filessize?

NL2000V3 is covered with 1m/pixel photoscenery and only this is a hefty 25GB when unpacked, all the rest is mere 4Gb and VOZ has no photoreal scenery whatsoever, so here's the big difference.
