Disapointment

Post by One1608 » Tue Oct 16, 2012 8:14 pm

After already putting efford in downloading your 3 se scenery, problems keep on continuing. I tried to install your scenery couple of times alrady, but it is always stopping at the same file (scasm_texture179). I tried to change directorys in which all the files are, I put them into one folder and downloaded the 4th dvd again. Nothing helps. Is there anything else i can do? :(

I really wanted to use your beatiful scenery, but i get more and more tired of the problems that already occoured so far, espessially because of the huge file sizes which make actions very time intensive.

Do you have any suggestions?

I can think off two problems:

- a corrupt cd
- there is nog enough space for installing the complete scenery, so it stops when you are out of diskspace

Can you check this? If possible, can you post the error ?

thanks for the quick reply! :)

i think disc space is not the problem, a have roughly 150 gb emty on this harddrive.

What do you mean with a corrupt cd? i downloaded the files from the links given here in the forum (6 parts). i downloaded the 4th part with the file again, but that didn't help.
Btw, i recognized that i takes ages to copy this file from one hard drive to another. seems weird, the file is only 85mb big. could that mean that it is corrupt? if yes, what could be the reason for this? i unziped the files only with winrar.

I cant post the error, the installer just freezes at 71% and nothing happens anymore (i waited aroun half an hour)

It sounds that the file is corrupt. Is it possible to unpack them with another zip program, like 7zip. Just to be sure?

How do you unpack NL files with 7zip? They need to be converted.

Try : https://7zip.download/
We don't support old scenery versions anymore.
