help needed with install in FS2004

I have just installed nl2000 into fs2004 directory, I tried to rename the file to zip but the install program started so I couldnt do it manually in win xp.
and Im trying to upgrade with nl2000u but when I start it will not find the nl2000 map
It just says install complete but nothing happens.
help needed !

Hi,

In Fs2004 the automatic install will probably not work, as the installers have been written for Fs2002.

The best approach would be to do a manual install indeed. If the installer still starts after you have rename the exe you have probably named it installer.zip.exe now. To remove the exe part you must be sure that you have the extensions on in windows. By default they are hidden.
