Hello! Goedendag!
I have been using all available NL2000 scenerys and airports with FSX for some weeks without any problem.
Now Microsoft got me with the 29€ offer for Windows8Pro, so I re-installed my SSD from scratch with new partitions and purchased Prepare3d Pro. No (real) FSX has been installed at all.
But I can setup nearly all of my ORBX & Aerosoft & Carenado & PMDG Scenerys and Aircraft without any problem, as I use the "FSX to Prepar3d Migration tool" of some Estonian guys, which does a virtual FSX while setting up the stuff.
Unfortunately the NL2000 installer wasn't able to install the 4.03 lib-file.
Attached you find 2 screenshots. There appears to be a problem to access the Scenery.cfg. Like I said, I already installed numerous other addons without this happening.
Maybe you have any Idea, why the NL2000 installer is doing different here.
It would be really nice, if you guys could offer a native Prepar3d NL2000 installer soon, so I could avoid using the virtualisation tool. As Prepar3d is nothing more than FSX in a different folder environment, it should be very easy to modify.

Prepar3D installation problems using virtual FSX

Hello Johan.
Meanwhile I had to setup P3D 3 times, including setup of Windows8 from scratch on an empty SSD partition, due to trouble with the "Windows Search" of Windows8.
I just tried to setup NL2000 again and it failed again, while trying to install the DR Scenery.
But then I found the solution. Shame on me, if I might not have seen a recommendation in the documents:
Start "NL2000V4_0.exe" as administrator, and everything works fine.
I don't have any trouble anymore.
Thank you - Bedankt - Danke!
