NL2000 version 4.02

The NL2000 team has recently spent much time and energy in the improvement and expansion of existing airports and 3D objects and trees. Although we are still working on Amsterdam airport, we release version 4.02 as a Christmas gift. The current installer (4.0.20) can also be used to install this new version. Existing files are automatically overwritten.

The updates can be downloaded from flightsim.com, avsim.com and through torrents. See our download page for all options.

Updates of airports (and sometimes surrounding areas) EHAL, EHBK, EHDL (new), EHDP, EHDR, EHEH, EHGG, EHGR, EHKD, EHLE, EHLW, EHRD, ENSB, EHSB80, EHTE, EHTL (new), EHTW , EHTW (active), EHVB, EHVB (closed) EHVK, EHWO improvement and helipad of hospital Groningen (EHUG).

Enhanced 3D scenery, including more buildings in Groningen, Abcoude, Haarlem and Emmen. Traffic follows now bridges and tunnels. Several generic objects have been added and improved.

More extended coverage of autogen trees to the Flevopolder and around the various airports. The density of the trees has been improved (now 1,246,027 trees are present in the scenery).

NL2000 versie 4.02

Het NL2000 team heeft de afgelopen periode veel tijd en energie gestopt in de verbetering en uitbreiding van bestaande velden en 3D objecten en bomen. Hoewel Schiphol nog op zich moet laten wachten brengen wij als kerstpresentje deze versie uit als versie 4.02. De bestaande installer 4.0.20 kan gebruikt blijven worden. De bestaande bestanden worden automatisch overschreven.

De updates zijn te downloaden via flightsim.com, avsim.com en via torrents. Zie onze download pagina voor alle opties.

Updates van velden (en soms de omgeving): EHAL, EHBK, EHDL (nieuw), EHDP, EHDR, EHEH, EHGG, EHGR, EHKD, EHLE, EHLW, EHRD, ENSB, EHSB80, EHTE, EHTL (nieuw), EHTW, EHTW (actief), EHVB, EHVB (closed), EHVK, EHWO en verbetering heliport ziekenhuis Groningen (EHUG).
Uitbreiding van 3D scenery, zoals uitbreiding van gebouwen in Groningen, Abcoude, Haarlem en Emmen. Auto's rijden voortaan netjes over bruggen en onder het water bij tunnels. Diverse generieke objecten zijn toegevoegd en verbeterd.
Uitbreiding van de autogenbomen tot aan de Flevopolder en rond de diverse velden. De plaatsingsdichtheid van de bomen is verbeterd (er staan er nu 1.246.027 stuks).

NL2000 is working hard on updates

The NL2000 team will soon have various beautiful updates of fields, with attention to details. For example, for the platforms, taxiways and runways (concrete tiles and asphalt on several fields, this truly improves the experience). Also, Deelen will be added to our releases. Although this is a closed field, the runway is looking good and in reality, many helicopter exercises are held there. We hope to release the gliding airport of Terlet soon as well. On EHGG we are busy with the night lighting and some small details. The Amsterdam project has started, but this has some lead time. Unfortunately, there is nothing new to report about this.

NL2000 druk bezig met updates

Het NL2000 team heeft binnenkort diverse mooie updates van velden, met aandacht voor allerlei details, waaronder speciaal ook voor de platformen, taxiwegen en runways (betontegels en asfalt op verschillende grote velden, echt een mooiere ervaring). Daarbij wordt Deelen toegevoegd aan onze releases. Alhoewel een gesloten veld, ligt de baan er netjes bij, en worden er in de praktijk diverse helikopter oefeningen gehouden. Ook hopen we het zweefveld Terlet op korte termijn te releasen. Op EHGG wordt druk gewerkt aan de nachtverlichting en enkele kleine details. Amsterdam project is gestart, maar heeft nog een lange doorlooptijd, helaas hier nog niets nieuws te vermelden.

Development news

At the moment, we are very busy with expanding the autogen trees. There will be an addition to our first tree-expanding package. This package covers a bigger surface. In several field updates we also beared in mind that the trees join up nicely. Furthermore, we are examining what more we can do with autogen (think autogen buildings). Besides that, we are experimenting with FSX bridges. That doesn't mean that there will be a release soon, but we'd like to inform you about this anyway.

Ontwikkelingszaken

Op dit moment zijn we druk bezig met het uitbreiden van de autogen bomen. Er komt een aanvulling op ons eerste bomen-uitbreidingspackage. Deze package beslaat een groter oppervlakte. Daarbij is bij diverse veldupdates ook rekening gehouden dat bomen netjes aansluiten. Daarnaast zijn we aan het onderzoeken wat autogen nog meer kan betekenen (denk aan autogen gebouwen). Ook zijn we aan het experimenteren met FSX bruggen. Niet gezegd dat dit ook snel een release geeft, maar we vinden het wel leuk om te melden.
